If the BotW->AoC->TotK release timeline is anything to go by, we won't have Switch 2 Zeldakino until 2028 at the earliest.

BotW was the successor to Skyward Sword. That's 2011->2017. That makes TotK to Zelda 3 2023->2029.
That is, if they haven't found ways to streamline development between studios and help from MonolithSoft. At least we could see another Animal Crossing in the meantime.

No. They took 6 years with 90% copy paste. You can't compare to old gens, new games take exponentially(? w/e) more time, like GTA of Elder Scrolls
