It's an incredibly good game. Too bad when I try to play through Steam now it just fucking crashes after a bit on Windows 10. Dunno why, it just does. No notification or anything. I lose progress regularly and can't play... and I really want to.

Any ideas?

Gaming used to be fun. Only thing the game was missing was stealth missions. They build the mechanics but never really used them. Could have been. MGS V or hit man tier.

dx11 was a lot newer back then and isn't as stable for that game
I am seeing other stuff talking about antialiasing being fucked so you might want to turn that off if you are playing on dx11.

I would try this, the Antialiasing setting, and if that doesnt work try both running on DX9 graphics

this one talks about dx11 for farcry 3 crashing because the RAM exceeds a cap, and has a way to fix that.
its for windows 11, but the problem might be the same issue.

Far Cry 3 and 4 were fun games. Crazy how they managed to fumble this formula with the sixth game. Something's wrong with that game's moment-to-moment gameplay and I'm not sure what.

I played this for the first time this year and it was the least sloppinest of the Ubisoft I have played to date. It was fun and the story and themes were at times almost competent.
