> hire paneet to maintain your platform code
> every 3 months thereโ€™s always a regression bug with the quest platform for quest link
> confusing as fuck menu that is not really that intuitive
> SDK undergoes many changes, bugs galore
The people working on VR donโ€™t give a shit about VR
Meta is known for automating their dogfooding process because their engineers donโ€™t care about the product and were told to โ€œdo things fast, show results, forget about code quality or stabilityโ€

I'd like to find some other VR games to play, but nothing is really catching my interest.

I can't believe Musk really got away with it too.
All the Neuralink test monkeys died a few months after getting the Musk chip. And I am still mad that nobody complained about this and they just swept it under the rug after convincing everybody that the monkeys were all safe and happy and then hiding the news that they died shortly afterwards lol.

Animals die all the time in medical testing, that's why it's animals and not people. I'm not saying you should purposely hurt or kill animals but like, what did you think would happen? They get a long happy retirement at the monkey farm after having open brain surgery? Tons of rats died the same way and nobody cared

They're specialist hardware that greatly enhance only some game experiences, notably simulation and racing. Until we have full neural control of digital bodies other types of games will struggle to find engagement. Oh also the gay ass walled garden shit between different companies.

It is? Every depiction of VR in media was like this before isekai popularized VR comas. Who wants to go into a coma to play a game? You don't, you don't even want to stand up to play a game, that's why you don't like VR.

The problem with VR is, was, and always will be the software.
It doesn't matter how cool and innovative the headsets are becoming when all the best games available are 5-6 years old
You're lucky if VR gets one legitimately good game a year among the garbage that comes out

Could have asked anyone around for the first attempt back in the 90s: motion sickness, poor visual quality and weight were all problems back then

Headsets being tethered most of the time also keeps you from actually moving in-game
Oh yeah and you think I'd spend a dime knowing it went to Facebook you're insane
