I think it is, but I still feel free. I call it reluctant determinism.

No, you can literally go out and do anything but you actively choose not to.

The fact that we cannot change the past or see the future proves that free will is an illusion.
Everything that has happened was meant to happen by the fact that it happened and you cannot go back to change it.
We can only "predict" what will happen or what we will do in the future but it will always be the present until an action is taken which then creates an irreversible past.
We live in an eternal present and everything that has happened or will happen has already been set by the ever existing present.

no. the reason hard determinism makes sense to us as an idea is because we have been brainwashed by centuries of natural philosophers that believe in the fiction of mechanistic causation. they create models of why things happen, repeatedly replace them and call the old models wrong (to the point of mocking their earlier counterparts as being morons for ever believing such primitive ideas) and then with out any self awareness proclaim the new models right and fundamental truths and insult anyone who questions them. Despite this abysmal track record people keep believing them.

when you realize you should not listen to those kinds of people at all, you see that it feels like you have free will, and so there is no reason to think otherwise.

Everything that happens was inevitable until proven otherwise
