It's been one week since update 1.1.2 and top players/content creators are already saying they'll abandon the game if the changes to track selection aren't reversed.
Players who had put hundreds of hours into the game are reporting they have barely managed to play since the update because it's so boring.
Japanese players have taken to calling the game "Mario Kart Wilds"(in reference to Monster Hunter Wilds and how shit that was).
Join any online lobby and people will STILL vpte heavily for random on the off chance you'll get an actual course and not a straight line.
And the worst part isn't that Nintendo made the change or refuses to reverse it. It's that they refuse to acknowledge the problem or communicate with the playerbase AT ALL. People spent $500 to play this game, how can they be allowed to just pull the rug out from under us?
