Havn't they been working on this since like 2010, like they completely trashed the game 2-3 times.
Damn microsoft put a lot of money on this too, they must be really scared at how bad the game is and how horrid the plot is. To completely shitcan the game writing it off as a loss.

Microshaft wouldn't cancel a game that was half way made it's to far invested in not to take it to the finish line. If anything Rare dragged their asses on prototype stage for 5 years and they only have the basic framework to show for it.
