I'm new to the resident evil series and just beat re4 2005. 1-3 look boring, the setting for 5 looks boring, people say 6 is ass, and 7 is basically 1. My only option is re8 in third person, correct?

Gameplay wise I prefer it but it definitely shines the most in co-op so try to get a friend if you can.
