I don't get why some great games like call of duty get ran into the ground and amazing games like this and Vagrant Story NEVER get proper sequels even though there is tons of interest

Did people like this game? I figured that since they basically made it a new game instead of making "Chrono Trigger 2" people hated it.

The battle theme (which is what you'll be hearing most of the game and there's not even a boss theme, btw) has to be the worst battle theme in the entire library of PS1 JRPGs.

If they couldn't get Horii, Sakaguchi and Toriyama together again to work on an entry, they shouldn't have done it at all - or at least made it it's own thing. Still, it looks interesting and I'll give it a go, considering it's done by the Xenogears team.
