I bought High On Life years back and enjoyed it. I skipped on the DLC when they I heard they shafted Justin and now I have zero interest in the sequel.

I really hated the comedy 1 hour in but the gameplay was solid. So the no Justin might be a plus for me.
His comedy is so one note. Its funny for a bit but after an hour you notice its all the same shit

How is high on life(gameplay wise) compared to Bears in Space?
I'll be honest the only reason why I played bears in space is that I was interested in the weapon upgrades since last I saw that mechanic was ratchet and clank

The truth of the matter is the Justin was fucked over because he was miserable to work with and so the allegations were used to kill any personal brand recognition he had, so people would not be obligated to work with him anymore.

The lesson is that you are only as good as your recent work and Justin post S3 of R&M was just a VA who fucked around the office bothering people who wanted to do their jobs.
It wasn't fair that his reputation was ruined in the way it was but if you don't respect the Useful-to-Bullshit ratio and keep the Useful side up, everyone your work with will get you out however is needed.

If he just tapped out and only occasionally tossed some ideas in one in a while and did his adlib VA work he likely still would of been around.
Again that's not to say he deserved it, but in his case the minimum needed to keep the Useful/Bullshit ratio on his side was to just be a nonfactor which is an insanely lucky position that he was to spergy (in the one of us way) to understand the power of.
He was quite literally one or two steps removed of achieving a Seth McFarlane Tier life where you can just coast off Voice Acting for your biggest hit and doing whatever else you want with the clout.
Which also makes it all the more tragic.
