What's modern? GenU probably gives the best value. All the dripfed monster hunters are insufferable. Rise was probably the least worst because it had the least performance issues, isn't as cinematic as the others and didn't have guiding lands.

I've played Freedom, FU, Tri, 4U, World, Rise and Wilds. Rise is by far the worst of the bunch.
