how important are the co-op elements of Monster Hunter to you?

Solo with palico is optimal gameplay, even 1 more human player makes it too easy

Bqck in the good old days of MHFU the ps3 had an app where you could plug in your psp and host a fake LAN connection and even back when monsters had real amounts of HP you still kill an elder dragon in 5 mins

I have always preferred playing solo but its cool to be able to play with my casual friends.
its always the same story in these games, multiplayer makes hunts too easy but harder hunts are impossible with teammates unless they are as good as you which is rarely the case. In rise for example I gave up trying to team
up with randoms for the harder hunts.

If you need help killing a monster, you should go play something easier than this already piss easy game series

Not that important I mostly play solo, but I can't ever get any of my friends into MH because of the hoops you have to jump through to play the campaign in tandem.

The worst part is they've had seamless coop with coop cutscenes in previous installments, but just I dont know decided it wasn't worth it despite constantly harping that party play is encouraged.

I hope when Pragmata fails people realize Capcom has been coasting on the goodwill of RE and MH for years, while churning out shit like Exoprimal and Dragons dogma 2.

i played all games solo anyways, but when i played world/ib with /vg/ it tripled my game time
time flies when you are playing coop

I had way more fun playing MH games solo on psp, actually took effort. Multiplayer mh is absolute braindead button mashing.
