I just had something similar happen in a match on crescent bay. Near the end of the map it just completely went away out of nowhere. Not sure if it was map related or what.
My other matches (both on the new map) have been totally fine.
Devs have been pretty good about getting hotfixes out quick when stuff goes wrong, so hopefully it'll be fixed soon.

Croc is really good. If you pull of a dash right you can be behind big groups with them taking a second to reorient where you are. With perks you can make his marking ability give make him move hell fast and its wall hack with it is excellent. And then there's the tomahawk which is crazy good. Its always a one hit kill so if your aim is good you can pull of huge range stuff with it and it gives a spot too. He seems really great on a good player but might seem terrible for a shitter. I wish everyone else felt as balanced as he was. His ow the edge voice lines are kino too

I just think the new map needs smarter spawns as the enemy is way to close to teh objective. Its really hard to win as an attacker because of this. There's one path to B2 which says you're out the map for some reason. Its still the smallest and most clusterfuck map and therefore will be played the most.

Just figured out you can scroll through the achievement rewards for the ones with multiple tiers to see what the later rewards are. You get a piss-flavored mac 10 for getting 100 smg kills in a round. Think I've only ever done 100+ kills twice, and that was with only bots

Unfortunately it looks like I'm stuck at the same place that other anon was back when the game first hit EA - with meshes but little/no textures. Seems to be an issue with a lot of unreal 5 games at the moment, they apparently use "virtual textures" for most things instead of normal ones, which current tools aren't able to extract. I know next to nothing about unreal engine so I'm not sure how hard it'll be to get there, but since it isn't just an issue for this game I'm sure someone will get it working eventually

Get into a conquest map half the enemy team is croc nothing but running around getting 1 hits with tomahawks or dropping you to 1% HP then finishing you off several yards aways they nerfed smgs which are like half the weapon loadouts for some characters making them useless. Sandar is such a poorly made map any progress attackers make gets pushed back easily cause defenders can just waltz to A and take that pinching your attackers forcing them to take A back and since the map is designed so poorly they can have the neutral item fall closer to their location and have no effort getting it let alone defending it.

Crock was not fun to play against and felt like a guaranteed cheap death in most encounters as a slim.
nothing in the new map was grabbing me either. as bad as A is on Crescent Raid, I still like the middle area of it in both modes.
I don't understand why they spent time on making several ARs, SMGs, and other guns feel much worse to shoot. Yet; they insist on keeping shit like Norman's ult, wolf mine, gas spam, and went and added the tomahawk. it feels like satisfying gunplay is being sacrificed for OP skill spam at times.
I also don't understand why they refuse to take the risks needed to stabilize and eventually grow this thing. them keep trying to force f2p monetisation and grind in this state makes it feel worse too. idk, I feel like they had their shit more together in the earlier tests.
maybe they'll surprise us w/ a miracle patch and free weekend next week, haha...

The grind is probably the only thing keeping people playing even if it is for trash most of the time. They just don't have enough content. 4 maps is still not the best, there's still no new player cards or win poses and some characters still only have a few recolors. Almost every event/challenge unlock is weapon XP which I almost never need. Even from S1 I've got hundreds of them and can get at least 3 weapons to level 50 instantly. They keep giving support so it does seem like they're going to go to at least full launch and get feedback along the way.

The problem with that is they get feedback from autists that are never satisfied. They've already gutted the SMG changes and anything that makes the players whine will surely make them jump on that too. They should have just waited longer before launch so there'd be more in the game.

EA syndrome. Even if the game got the core gameplay perfect there's just not enough to do. Not enough maps or valiants to start off with. Could use more guns too. And then all the grind content is incredibly lack. Almost no extra shit like calling cards, end of round poses, skins or weapon skins to unlock. After maybe 1 - 2 weeks of S1 you'd have unlocked everything and done the same thing with the same guns so much you'd be tired of it, and it didn't help it was against the same people.

And all of this small amount of content cost money. I can see the merit of having a game not be f2p, but only if it were finished. This EA costing money already dissuades so many others from playing and even more so considering there's probably a fuck ton of f2p shooters. They really have a chance of striking a niche with their lewd furries but there's just too little of them with not enough lewds and we get more so damn slow. The gameplay's not perfect no but its barely the selling point. Truly there's zero competitors. There are no classed based NON MILSIM shooters out. And because the game isn't f2p people aren't buying it and going oh I don't like it. They just aren't buying it. The devs are giving a lot more support then I'd expect for chinks so hopefully they really are trying to slwoly make a good game and they just wanted player feedback. The only hope for this game is if they keep supporting it up to a big full release launch and really go to town with advertising it and having a ton of content.

The devs have been surprisingly pretty on the ball. Launch had almost daily hotfixes and we still get plenty. Even if they aren't always right they do seem pretty keen on getting it to work. So hopefully in the next season or 2 it'll have way more stuff.

This plus Mac10 or M14 depending on your fancy. Take the scope with the smallest magnification and shorter ADS time on the M14, the extended mag, remember to set it to full auto and just treat it like an assault rifle. Any muzzle attachment that reduces recoil is good

Keep the matches going with an end game countdown. Allow bots to be replaced at any time during the match, not just the first few minutes. Maybe even get extra fancy and allow for map/mode voting.

Hey, we agree on the important one. I'll concede the faster healing (top row of class talents) is better than point capping if you're playing raid, which most people are. I really can't get behind the faster weapon switch, though, if you aren't killing them with a full mag of your primary something is wrong.
