But hey, maybe this one will be different. My biggest concern was that they kept advertising the combat, and the combat in the first game was easily the worst part. It’s still pretty terrible in this one, but they made it effective enough that you no longer feel the need to actively avoid it and it’s almost fun.

I don’t think I’ve seen anything take #1 over NBA, FIFA, CoD, or Fortnite on the PS5. It doesn’t matter how good or popular it is, #2 or 3 is the best you can do. I don’t think even the PS5 release of GTA5 hit number one.
It doesn’t matter anyway, the game is super fun and there are enough people playing that all of the social aspects are fully realized right now and the world feels almost too populated because there’s signs and notifications and gear and vehicles from other players everywhere.
