Arch is arguably the best because of how up-to-date the software repositories are. I've settled on an Ubuntu spin because I like the 6 month cadence of updated software while enjoying stability for other things I'm doing on my PC. running a Debian system with backports is always on my backburner in case Canonical does some stupid shit (again) like Fedora recently did.

>Linux
>Good for games
Pick one
When you have to do some crazy shit just to play your game then I don't think Linux will ever be good
Game is Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy

good thing none of that is
>crazy shit
and most of it is caused by one (1) DE that is known for releasing half-baked shite, which is why I don't use it anymore. KDE going full Waytard too soon is going to regress that Linux gaming community by several years.

More like Arch is unironically easy, because you almost never have to deal with missing drivers. (good luck if you do) I tried using Ubuntu based distros one time, just for testing purposes and not a single one could find drivers for my wifi card and installing them from an outside source filtered me hard. No problem in arch, instantly found and working.

Not to mention there's also EndeavourOS which is arch for babies.

Verified playable on Steam Deck. Clearly it isn't impossible.
