It's good for a few hours and then The Problems™ set in. Quite probably The Problems™ also coincide with the game getting a AAA budget and being able to hire other companies like Platinum to bullshot their eikon battles for them.
It's still better than 15, and actually got finished, but it isn't anything it was hyped up to be. Writing problems and shallow gameplay abound. And they're still terrified of making a fucking turnbased game.

If you're playing on normal difficulty than it's still pretty bad, the game is actually way more better on the hardest difficulty mode that only unlocks after you beat the game once.
legit I have no idea why they were so stupid to do it like that

oh and I'm also playing with Jap dub, I don't know why people praise the EN version tbqh this one is much more coherent and its amusing hearing them say completely different sentences in English which feel wacky and kind of dumb as opposed to Jap which while sometimes cliche and corny makes much more sense and is more in line with the circumstances the characters are in.
This is the way, if I didn't know a bit of japanese I would be stuck with the inferior EN version.

I know I know the lip sync and everything but playing it in Japanese is obviously how it should be played like I didn't make a screenshot but it was hilarious when the Jap dialogue said burial 埋葬(maisou) and in this setting they indeed seem to burry their dead meanwhile the EN subtitle text said cremation/Pyre , there is something seriously wrong with the EN version and I'm surprised I'm the only anon who's pointing it out right now.
