>>714428715You could get 'any' game working without assistance from the dev, or network captures, but you're looking at a sub 0.1% of programmers on the planet that have both the patience, and the knowledge to throw at a game at Ghidra/Olly/whatever to decipher it. Nevermind if shit is encrypted or behind an anti-cheat, which you have to deal with first.
The more shit that's server driven (especially game logic, or AI things missing in the case of Titanfall 2 on private servers), the less chance of people restoring something since it's a whole other system they have to re-implement as faithfully as they can, assuming there's been any research done on it while the servers were live.
