>>714429625My bad, I forgot how big 4chan's character limit is compared to other sites, whichever one you're from.
TL;DR:
1. Lots paid $$$$$ for useless degrees.
2. Identity culture is exploding.
3. Social media brain making them only speak in references.
4. Diversity AT ALL COSTS, even with fictional races.
5. "Relatability" = an "objective good"
6. They love using media as a tool to teach (and/or brainwash) about a certain way of thinking.
7. Egotism making them turn characters into personal mouthpieces.
Is this short enough?
>>714430071Bruv, I don't know what game this is either. Doesn't matter what their intentions were in making this game if they can't find a way to get the advertising to me, a card-carrying Gamer with money.
I dunno, advertising in general is just a shitshow these days, really the only advertising that -works- nowadays is handing free game keys to streamers so they play it, or sponsoring them so they have to say nice things about it.
>>714431673What doesn't help is fuckloads of people who run to the first company that gives out loans and they sign the first thing that gives them the money.
I mean hell, the bank / loanshark / whatever says "this is the money you are BORROWING, this is how much you need to pay back MINIMUM per year to not go further into debt, now sign it if you want", it's just that a lot of people go "ooh free money" and sign it despite having no chance of ever paying it back, even if they got their dream job, then get mad when they realize "loan" means "borrow" and "minimum" means they'll be paying for about 300 years.
Doesn't help half the time they're getting an objectively weak degree in something that there's no chance of making money off of to pay their loans off with.
Like, they'll travel the country to some big school, live in a fancy dorm, buy all their books new, end up $200k in debt all for a degree in a useless field, then kick and scream about how Communism would allow them to teach poetry as their day job.
