Got the new rune factory game. Honestly, this artstyle clicks with me way more than the Mainline games.

Really wish all big switch 1 games were getting switch 2 updates to remove 30fps and 720p caps

Mainly MKW offline and Bravely Default remastered. I forgot how rough the DeRosa fight can be, even with lightning resistance. I definitely should've waited to buy the console since not a whole lot interests me right now, but it is nice to have it. I actually managed to get it on launch day but got the email for the registration thing like two days ago.

Yeah, they definitely should. I put XC3 and XCX on hold until they patch them. I think they’ll shadow drop updates for all XC games at once during the next Direct (itt after Banana releases)

Loving the Switch 2. The screen is big enough for games of any genre to feel comfortable.
Finished the Rune Factory GoA, it was decent. I won't play any other games of the series since I'm not a fan of farming games but as a one-off it was fine.
Diablo 2 is quite nice, although gets blurry often.
Metroid Prime is fun.
Disappointed in Valkyria Chronicles. It's more like a puzzle slice of life about war than a tactics game. It's still a comfy story just the gameplay part is quite boring.
Waiting for the System Shock 2 release and Donkey Kong.

Please recommend something to dump 20+ hours into while I wait?
Any genre except a fighting game or a VN.

The game has been very easy so far, ~30 missions done. There was just 1 mission that forced me to restart.
Yes, you can customize your wanzers (change parts, weapons). Of course, every part has a certain weight, chance to hit etc. so you can't expect to put weapons on both hands and shoulders and expect them to have high HP and hit %; it's all about finding the right stuff for your wanzer.
Cool thing about FM3 is that you have other shit like mail and network / web sites where you can find articles about companies, products, political situation, so if you're into that shit you'll have a lot to read.
All missions in this game are very linear, there is no free roam if that's what you're looking for, but there is a battle simulator available if you want to train / farm weapon skills / try your wanzers so it's not like you're gonna be cockblocked at any moment and be forced to restart the game because the mission is too hard.

Got it 2 days ago. Can't help but to feel that muh switch lite that I used for the last 5 years is way comfier. Maybe I wouldn't mind if the 2 was smaller but it's actually fucking giant. Feeling like selling it and going back to lite but I really want to play Bananza. Currently playing totk, def didn't expect the difference to be THAT stark, lower resolution and lods aren't really noticeable on lite's small screen but I didn't realize it worked at like 20 fps + stutters every time you open any menu until it ran at super stable 60 and menus worked twice as fast. Also SR3 apparently had unlocked fps but just happened to work in pretty stable 30 on the old switch lol.

Its cute/sad seeing idiot Switch 2 owners enjoying things any one with a real functioning brain has been enjoying on PC for years.

This is my first nintendo console since the gamecube (and my first console in general) so I bought a bunch of old switch 1 games. I'm disappointed it doesn't automatically make them run better like they would on a better PC, can't say I'm thrilled with it so far.

I've been playing MKW and BOTW since I never had the switch 1. I also plan to get Odyssey but I learned from anons that sometimes there are discounts on Eshop so I might get the digital version at a lower price than 60 ?
Also I'd like to get DQ11 if it gets a performance boost. No interest in Bananza as destroying everything in an open field is really not my cup of tea. I'd like to buy both 2D country games but the fact that the Wii port looks worse than the Wii version kills me
