I'm sure some studio could easily make a new Bloodrayne game that's actually good and take cues from the many well made 3d action games of the past couple decades. Too bad the entire series being janky is kind of the franchise's whole identity so no one would want to take it on

Yeah the games were mid at best(didint play the 2d one yet) but man it is definetly a product of its times.
I even went out to get 2nd hand copies of physical PC releases.

I agree. B2 felt bloated with all that "parkour" and throw the enemy at thing to progress thing. I also preferred the OGs weapon system of you pick up the gun and throw it away when empty.

ill be honest. with current climate id rather not see another rayne game.
it will either be pozzed to death or progs will complain bout it till the end of times.
kinda glad rayne is forgotten gem.

It's honestly hilarious how many sequences involve doing that to progress. I love Rayne though and the games are just perfect to kill people and perform acrobatic kills. I completely agree disposing the guns was far better and actually gave you way more variety in what guns you could use too.

This is how I feel myself, and part of why Perfect Dark getting shitcanned was a good thing.

yup sometimes its best to just appreciate what we got and thats it.
best example outside of vidiya ive got would be cancellation of dodge viper.
in the end im glad because nowadays it couldnt exist as it did. the enormous engine and manual would be gone 100%
