get some random engine, like any generic ass engine like unity
make a tiny little basic tiyn games. some simple 2d shit with squares moving around
start progressively evolving until you figure out what cool thing you wanna do

Do the opposite of this. Design your entire game in notepad. Make it the most ambitious insane clusterfuck of everything you ever wanted in a game. Then pay poor autistic jackoffs to make it for you, and ride the coat tails of their labor to your glorious success.

Art and creativity is easy. Coding is like arcane arts I can't into.

There's a really big difference between enjoying doing something and just romanticizing the result of said activity.

It's a PITA but it's the only way. Take a couple weaks/months to make a bunch of early arcade-tier gameplay on a smaller scale, make progressive growth and try different techniques to see what works for you and your designs.
Same applies to drawing more or less. You just have to do things mindfully for a while and the really painful part is sucking at it for most of that while.
t. currently sucking at drawing but I cope by copying anime girls to feel like that will be the end result of this
