Undertale was better executed, but its concept could have been used more properly with multiple timeline shenanigans that could make the game feel more alive. Also, the game fails to make you sympathize with the characters that are actively trying to murder a child. Horrortale is a much better reinterpretation because it gives monsters a reason to kill you, they want to eat you because they are starving. Yes, it's awful and you would defend yourself anyway. But at least they have a true decision that it's understandable.
Then you have Deltarune with a decent story and great game overall, but what really stands out is the meta narrative with Gaster, Player and Noelle, the Weird Route, etc.
To be completely honest, I will give the trophy to FNaF uniquely because it's adaptable l, while Deltarune can only work on its own context.
