It's not like in 1990 where gaming is still bordering on niche and if big companies fail, the entire industry will crash because nobody wants to buy video games. You don't take an industry that is getting a new "MOST SOLD GAME OF ALL TIME" every year and say, "the industry is on life support, nobody is buying games". The industry will never crash again. To say that the gaming industry will crash at this point is to say that tomorrow, everyone in the west will stop making movies, TV, books, and music.
