Even playing demanding games it's been cooler and less noisier than my original Switch

There's nothing to indicate that this is the case, analysis of components show that they just aren't cheap, inflation definitely has something to do with that too.

No it isn't, there has been nothing to show that this is the case just that some of the components are functionally the same but this ignores what causes stick drift
