I don't know why people think we are going to get a general direct right before a Pokemon presents and right AFTER a specific game direct. If we hadn't gotten a DK direct, then they would be on to something. We have had this situation happen in two years, so it is possible. The only thing that is possible for us to get right now is an Indie World direct or a Mini. If people want to prepare for Silksong hype again HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, then by all means.

Can you articulate just a bit better? Because half of that didn't make sense. You do know that they can just announce release dates on the Nintendo Today app, they don't need to have a direct to show off more of Elden Ring for Switch 2. Even if they DO have a direct planned, I doubt Elden Ring would even be on it.

There's other games as well, it seems this year Nintendo pushed things up one month so we're getting directs 1 month later than usual. We pretty much always have a direct in June so a direct now in July makes sense.

None of that matters, especially Pokemon. If Nintendo wants they can throw in a short teaser for Donkey Kong for all the casuals watching it

I do think there will be a Direct this month, likely next week. BandaiNamco is supposed to announce the next Tales remaster this summer. They just had thier own event and Didn't announce it. SGF, Microsoft, Sony, all had their conferences. The only one left is Nintendo, unless they wait until TGS. Also there were all those games announced at the summer events that all skipped switch 2.
