Fun games are overrated

Fun is easy as hell to come by, if you want pure fun you can just go outside and have sex, or drive a car, or play a sport with your friends

What games are uniquely positioned to provide are experiences that are both fun AND interesting, in my opinion all the best games of all time are both fun and interesting and by default better than games that are just one or the other since they make use of the medium's entire potential

GTA is the opposite of fun and interesting

I didn't find Skyrim fun or interesting, I tried playing it but got bored real quick. I keep hearing online and irl with friends that it's fun with mods but I think if a game needs mods to be fun to play it's just not worth the time.
