I get why Nintendo and Playstation still have a solid fanbase, even why Valve/Steam has fanboys, but it goes beyond me how Xbox still has rabid fanboys somehow

They'll migrate to other platforms now that their games show up there. The biggest tryhards will just end up being pissed off that one of their favorite games ends up cancelled or Microsoft stops supporting Halo in favor of COD or whatever

I love the original Xbox and will defend it from any cubesnoy around. I love the 360 and will defend it from any wiisnoy and dsnoy I see. I do not have any interest in the xbone and xbone series. I will never play them. I will however wish for Slippery Pete's Xbox to one day return, even if it'll never happen.

I’m the only Xbox player on 4Channel. I play on Xbox because I live a relatively normal life in my mid 20s, and I’ve had an Xbox since I was 12 with the 360. So I guess it’s a “sunken cost fallacy” situation because I’ve got 2400+ games on the system and if I still want to play those games and that backlog, which will probably be my life. I can’t be bothered getting into PC gaming because it looks expensive and complicated, plus I like playing games on the TV. And lastly, as sad as this is, I truly feel my profile and gamer score reflect me as a gamer. I can look back to 2013 and see the achievements I got in Halo 4, see my old avatar, when I got achievements in Mirrors Edge, that kind of stuff. It makes me very sad Xbox is probably not making it to 10th Gen, but I’ll still play it because my backlog is so large.

If Xbox dies. How will Playstation fans be able to survive without anyone to punch down on?
