A lot of Butcha's games tend to get budgeted at one point. His two games about a school affected by miasma got budgeted in the second game, so his intention for having the game have an alternate beginning/route by loading a save from the previous game (It had a good ending and a cliffhanger bad ending) was basically scrapped in the sequel. There was a lot of reused/repurposed CGs too.

It was a huge let down. The game sets up with scenario with two villains and does nothing with it. You get one scene with each, and it's not even any of the main characters confronting them, hell the final conflict is something else entirely.
Then again I'm not sure why I expected a good story from a nukige, maybe because I like clockups other works, but I'm noticing they do this kind of thing a lot (setup a grand plot and then go off the rails with a wet fart)
