I watched videos of this when i was a teen and didnt know much, why did every adult youtuber i watched struggle with aerodynamics, even knowing the mere basics, I look back and consider them stupid as fuck
>>714527676 (OP) there is no greater euphoria than successfully joining two ships in orbit for the first time. that feeling of taking two infinitesimally small tin cans and managing to get them to touch is so great
needs visual mods though. parallax continued and waterfall and firefly and such
>>714528234 it's got a bunch of visual mods but yes this is kerbal space program 1 the CKAN mod manager is piss easy to use so anyone who has KSP1 really should be using it and looking up a list of lightweight graphical upgrades

>>714528126 I think kittens are fucking stupid, but what I have seen so far looks good.
>>714527881 only some people have an intuitive understanding of flight and aero/hydrodynamics

>>714528254 Nigga, have you been looking at the updates and code changes in the Discord? They're making incredibly fast progress considering they only started revealing stuff to the public late last year.

>>714528107 How do you get your vehicles to look all shiny and realistic? I have all the graphics mods for environments and stuff, but my rockets still look like they're made of plastic.

>>714527676 (OP) I just bought it too. Did you watch any videos on it or can you go in blind?
>>714529346 I haven't watched any tutorials, I just did the tutorial levels and then messed around in sandbox mode doing a Mun flyby + return to get the hang of doing things yourself. I'm just playing through career mode now going at my own pace.
>>714529810 career mode is great. the missions change as you get to certain milestones and unlock more technology. you go from nothing but a handful of mission types and quickly get contracts to make space stations and add on to them and stuff like that which i enjoy doing so very much

>>714527881 The vast majority aren't interested in those kinds of things growing up. Games like KSP help them learn.

>>714528192 There will be a full Kerbalization mod, it's inevitable. Change the planet names and textures to KSP, change the models to Kerbals, change the part names, even restore the dumb but endearing more descriptions and in universe manufacturers
