>>714538492Is the fact that there's a second kind of EXP that does nothing except gate you off from some shit not sound somewhat questionable? If you have a dragon digimon, plant exp is useless until you unlock the burger that turns it into normal exp.
The second point about it keeping you from just grinding in the metal slime area. I counter with there's better ways to do that. 1 is just not having exp in a virtual pet game in the first place. The others are the shit I allready suggested. It's a v-pet game so it could have done that with v-pet mechanics.
That third point about it gate-keeping evos but not completely, could work if it's in a Story game. But I am ranting about a shoddy attempt at recreating Digimon Championship (which wasn't even that good in the first place) I should not have to wait for the exp I want to make it evolve into the path I want if I can only raise one of them at a time. (Championship did btw also in that game digimon aged and died much faster which made it easier to accept since trying again was a more viable option) There's also the fact that the game does a poor job of distributing it. There should be a reliable way at the end of the game to get EXP of every species in a decent amount for each stage, since they all get exponentially more powerful and expensive. But if your digimon isn't a fish it's shit out of luck at the early and late stages.
>>714539026Species exp is way more annoying because you have to get a source for each kind. ABI is annoying, but you have a universal solution of just evolving and devolving a mid-level guy a few times, then going for the thing you want.
