It's simple. Watching other people's playthroughs, using a guide, looking up information about the game you're playing that you should figure out yourself, using save states for ANY reason other than picking up right back where you left off after taking a break, pretending to have intricate knowledge of the industry and games as a whole while not playing enough games spanning over decades to have acquired that, caring about culture war politics to the exclusion of games themselves, valuing non-gameplay elements above gameplay, caring about the social aspects of games over the game itself (e.g. in co-op games or MMOs), and discussing games or game "culture" more than you actually play them. A telltale sign of this last one and that someone is a poser is that they refer to people who play video games as a hobby as a gaming """""community,""""" so I'm guessing you're a poser yourself.
