Consoles are a walled garden with exclusives and a limited choice of games. Gamepads are incredibly limited and don't work for complex games with a lot of hotkeys.
Deck solves both problems and offers much more comfortable gaming experience than on PC.

It's not like they're guaranteed to break, which is why people are swearing there's no problem, but the shoulder bumpers objectively are more fragile than normal buttons, because the design is inherently shit, copied from Xbox controllers where it was also total shit. I don't know why that shitty bumper design was invented at all.
