No. It came, people played, many had a good time, some (rightfully) bitched about the sloppy performance, and they moved on while a small portion of true faithful stuck around as they did for the OG.

This is strange to me. The game frame gens well with Lossless Scaling, not the built-in, and I get a pretty reliable 120 on my dinky ass laptop 4060 on medium/high settings. Yeah the game shouldn't run like shit anyway but it's easily remedied if you're not running a pawn shop rig.

My laptop has a 3070. I got between 30-60 fps on medium. Every other game I played before Oblivion Remastered ran fine, including Space Marine 2 and Marvel's GOTG. Oblivion pushed me to build a pc with a 9070 XT and 7800x3D.

huh? I put 60 hours in on my deck while out of the country, it didn't run great but could hold a fairly stable 30 outside of initial loading. This thread just reminded me to install on my desktop now that I'm back, I'll be shocked if my 4080 can't run it without issues

funnily enough, i booted it up today after 3 months to see if the performance improved. Turns out it didn't, so i guess i will keep playing modded Skyrim, until they do
