I think all 3 of them are fine. motion controls on wii are definitely nice, and presumably the switch has them too, but gyro aiming is always a little more finicky than a nice pointer. pikmin 2 is the only one where the switch version isn't great because of odd censorship and expired licensing stuff, but even then that's fairly minor

Switch has all the Pikmin games (except for the 3DS game and mobile "game" nobody likes or cares about). And 3 was fixed for Switch 2. Pikmin 4 might be rereleased within a year for a "Switch 2 Edition".

I had fun with the Wii version but desu any version will do. Timeless game (s)

Original is best, wii version has easier controls but worse combat for it and a ton of unacceptable bugs, like Pikmin falling through the floor and randomly dying. Switch version is better than the Wii version but replaced all the brand items with generic items, which is surprisingly worse but not by much. The controls in switch are debately worse/better so it's hard to say.
1 and 2 are great games though so however you can, it's worth playing

The final boss sucks on the original controls. Never played the others.

1 and 2 on Dolphin with mouse and keyboard
3 with the true spice mod on Ryujinx
4 on Ryujinx

Yeah, but it still kinda sucks that Pikmin 2 lost the charm of the real-world branding. Seeing a Duracell battery or a Pepsi cap made the world feel weirdly grounded in reality. Now it's just "Energy Cell" and "Fizzy Lid" or whatever. Still, for accessibility and just having everything in one place, Switch is hard to beat. Just a shame about the little things being scrubbed.
