>"Im looking for the grave of a young boy who died about thirty years ago. His name was John Sheppard..."
This is what the serial killer thinks about his deceased brother, the reason why he started killing kids to begin with. It's so fucking funny, makes zero sense

>they had DLC planned for endings for EACH protag where they end up the killer.
Wut. As far as I know they had DLC planned sure but they were all prequels, like Madison's. I believe it was confirmed Norman's would explain his right cheek scar.

during the scene in the typewriter repair shop, control the woman instead of Shelby
you don't see what happens, you still trust Shelby (or at least give him the benefit of the doubt), no need to lie to the player

That scene is kinda iffy, yeah the camera shifts to Lauren but still, should've made it more obvious. Maybe even make it the only moment in the game you get to control her moving around the shop. The little cutscene where she's inspecting a music box is also shorter than the "true" cutscene where you see Scott killing Manfred. As always when it comes to David Cage's games, the idea is fucking amazing but the execution leaves a lot to be desired

This is what pisses me off about Cage games so much. The premise is always fucking awesome. If literally anyone other than David Cage was at the helm these would be incredible games, but because he is the lead we get a 5 star gourmet recipe churned into pigslop. It is no coincidence that the route he had the least to do with in Detroit (Connor's) is by far and wide the best one.

A bit of a shame desu that the best part of every Cage game is the cop section yet Heavy Rain's Norman is so heavy to make a retard out of his QTEs (and also by far the easiest protagonist to get killed). I remember more than a decade ago when I was a kid he was the coolest, what with his ARI glasses and all. Nowadays with AI and VR it seems a bit outdated, and his VA is shit, but still I have a soft spot for this FBI agent.

a part of me wants Cage to stop fucking around and just make a buddy cop drama moviegame since it's clearly what he's best at, but on the other hand the retarded stuff like zombies fighting AIs DBZ style and the Shelby tweest are charming

Sorry for the last post being a bit ESL, it's not because I'm an ESL but legit because I'm drunk, but yeah I'm actually not sure if it'd work out? Part of me thinks that the "emoshion" parts of each story like Ethan or Kara help turd wrangle Cage. He seems obsessed with those sections moreso than the cop buddy sections like Jayden or Connor. I trully wonder what an LA Noire-like Cage game would be like if he doesn't have characters to "possess" when it comes to weaker narrative links
