The Smash fanbase simply didn't care about him during any of the times it mattered. They had a whole ballot that ran in 2015, and they didn't vote for him in it. They ignored him until Switch ports were announced a few years later. THEN suddenly they can't stop gushing about how iconic he is. Suddenly, he's definitely getting in to promote Eternal (even though we hate "shill picks"). Suddenly, they love him. Be lucky you got that costume.

I'd like both. Give ranger the orb for a teleporting up+B. I would just hope if Doomguy was added it'd be classic Doomguy. What other characters would you guys want?
