Why is steam celebrated for having sales but the sales in other platforms are completely ignored? Is it an attempt to force a positive reputation for steam while rescinding the same opportunities for everyone else?

Idk no one told me I could get the entire Atelier franchise half off on Switch last month so I almost missed out. Glad I checked when I did.

People say Nintendo games are so great but I feel like I’m the only person who buys a switch to not play Nintendo games. It’s just perfect for low budget JRPGs like Atelier that you can play in bed.

Ehhh aside from mainline Nintendo games most games still get good discounts on all major consoles. Recently got the first KCD for like 2 bucks and Titanfall 2 for around 5. Best one though was getting Grim Fandango for like a buck. It was pretty cool.

nintendo is a pretty bad example. elsewhere on pc publishers pretty much set the same prices on all stores but some stores like gamesplanet still do flash sales for bigger deals. like any market where you wanna save money you gotta shop around, there's so many stores to get games.
