>>714559695 (OP)Persona has too many fans for what it is, and I find there's very little indignation for what essentially amounts to false advertising, looking at all promotional media combat and dungeon crawling are both very overrepresented while the gigantic segments of text and life simulation are usually downplayed or outright concealed, even the back of the boxes tends to overrepresent gameplay and downplay social aspects.
I also have a strong dislike for movie games, stuff like TLOU or God of War that seems designed to appeal to people who don't like gameplay, I don't mind long cutscenes but the movie to gameplay ratio needs to make sense, if a game is gonna have 20 hours of cutscenes it better have 80 hours of gameplay to justify it, otherwise you may as well just be watching a movie.
Souls and souls-like annoy me due to how slow, shallow and repetitive the combat is.
