Warding should have been the wake-up call that polling is insanely dysfunctional and doesn't work. Especially with a playerbase as schizo as OSRS.

OSRS died when they leaned into bosses being loot pinatas.
Skilling is now purely an XP-grinding exercise. If you want whatever resource that comes from skilling, you can just kill a boss and get a lot more of it in the same time.
