First of all that's not the way the devs intend for you to play, second this wouldn't change how zombies get distributed across the gameworld.
For example, if I wanted to clear out Muldraugh, do you know what I would have to do prevent zombies appearing? I'd need to wall off the entirety of the town with log walls (or an alternative form of wall).

I actually did play it recently -- specifically, splitscreen co-op with my brother on his Deck. It was pretty fucking jank, but also fun as hell.
As for updates, I don't really care about all the weird shit the devs want to add (fucking pottery?). I'll just come up with stuff to do by myself, and mods can take care of the rest.
