I will say that from what I've seen of attack on titan, it succeeds at. It wants to be this super dystopian show about the horrors of war or whatever. I was so horrified, I had to stop watching. I can't believe people willingly watch such a depressing show. Like "I can't wait for the new season to come out, so I can feel hopeless again."
