If you think of 3DS as the height of handheld gaming it means you're a zoomer. The DS had a better run and there was nothing interesting on 3DS in the end.

3DS can play DS games natively, and emulate GBA. it's objectively better than the DS

It is the height because it can run kind of natively GBA games, DS games with slight blur and 3DS games ofc

3DS games of multiple series are inferior to the DS ones, but they still remain pretty, this + Gamecube quality of game in a heldheld and free online made it really better than the DS

I expect pretty soon that there won't even be "real" consoles anymore and you'll just have the choice between 2-3 different Android boxes for your TV from a few different manufacturers.
