Recommend me an RPG that I can spent my remaining days of summer playing. I'm a fan of troika games so don't mention BG or larianslop because they're not RPG's

I tried underrail but it seemed too soulless and janky. Dungeon Rats from what I've read is Decadence without any of it's good parts so it's not worth trying. Don't know about the last two but I don't think I'll like them
>>714608567
I'm sorry but it looks horrible so I won't play it
>>714608586
Troika games have roleplaying and different ways of solving conflicts while Larianslop is railroaded combatslop where you choices don't matter and you can kill everyone and no one will say anything

Sorry I was thinking TOEE when you said troika and recommended more combat focused games
Try ATOM RPG and the Trudograd expansion

You're reading it wrong, he's paying 300 won an hour to use a shitty gaming cafe pc.

Having shitty art style usually indicates low production value which spills into other parts like story and gameplay
>>714609004
I liked TOEE even though it was pure combatslop because it had good atmosphere and some neat parts like many endings and alignment quests. I sucked at combat though and cheesed it through mind controlling npc's
>Try ATOM RPG
I've completed it and didn't like it. It was too soulless and trying to imitate Fallout 1 too hard without understanding of what made it great.
>>714609087
Tried it too and it didn't quite click. The setting wasn't really appealing and it had no qualities that would make it's combatslop worthwhile

Underrail's early game is basically a tech demo for the actual game (tbqh it really needs a heavy polish patch to polish it up to the rest of the game's standards but that's probably not happening), gotta get past Depot A to get to the good stuff
genuinely one of the best CRPGs of all time once you hit midgame, and Expedition is even better

Shadowrun games are probably some of the most boring RPGs I've ever played.

I played that game at launch and got frustrated, I think I built my character to use chem pistols and at some point was having to snipe through every single encounter with a rifle for some reason. Maybe I'll try it again soon.

I was baited into playing so many shitty games by excusing them with "maybe it'll get good later" I can no longer be convinced by this
>>714609790
It's not about graphics but the style. There are so many AAA games that looks soulless and boring and there a lot of indie games that look appealing

But only if they look and play like shitty AAA games. I get it, anon. We're not all born with taste.
