No. There is no way for the system to track children of cheatmons in earlier gens as far as I'm aware. But personally, I would still consider it unpure.

The whole inject vs legit debate is so fucking stupid. Doing it legit is just a huge fucking waste of time and battling RNG for literally the exact same result and any cheating done via injecting can easily be detected with a pre-battle check of moves, natures and stats. In fact injecting removes a potential RNG element from fights because everyone has full perfect IVs.

There's definitely some cases of injecting that are pretty fucked up.
Watched a video the other day on that Follow Me Magmar you could only get from Pokemon XD where you'd need to grind for an insane amount of time to even get a chance at seeing one with acceptable IVs, let alone the perfect ones you'd get from injecting.
And then it turned out the Magmar was deliberately programmed to not be able to have perfect IVs lol
It's a bit fucked up cause it's an option 99.9% of legitimate players would never even think of since it's way too time consuming and it literally caused Game Freak to start resetting the movesets of Pokemon transferred from previous games.
