My point is that the average quality has trended down even further from there. You could find plenty of people doing reviews/interviews with good questions and good takes. Plus the further back you go the more excited and passionate people were. Journalism in 2015+ was "I hate gamers and you should to" and that message pretty much never went away. Now a bunch of those outlets are being shut down,sold, or replaced with AI.
