Here’s what chuds aren’t getting - Nintendo has been releasing the launch library for the Switch 2 for the past couple of years, on a system that wasn’t *quite* able to play them yet.

The moment I realized we couldn’t play the new Zelda games in 60fps, I was out. I have literally sat and waited for 7 years to be able to play Breath of the Wild PROPERLY. Same with all of their new shit. The switch was okay, but I hated how it chugged on games and really hated how shitty it looked on a nice big OLED TV.

But no more. I feel like a kid again getting a Super Nintendo for the first time. Everything feels new, and I fired up Mario Wonder today on a whim and was BLOWN AWAY. Holy shit that game is fun. It’s the exact game that if you took my child ass retard self and showed them and said - this is Mario Brothers in the future, it would have completely made sense.

I’ve got all a whole library of AAA Nintendo titles to dive into, and I think this is why the system is selling so fast. Because we know we can finally play our fucking games.

Also - I can’t believe I fell for the FUD at first. Mario Kart World is spectacular fun, unsure what the sweaties are complaining about.

>”experience”
> 30 fps, 1080p

Yes, good for you anon. I’m glad you got to ‘experience’ the games I’m playing at 4k 60fps for the first time. I’m glad I waited, and as a result the Switch 2 has the best launch library I’ve ever seen

You’d be pissed if the Switch 2 came with 8 awesome games? Wow I think you should honestly see someone anon, because you seem to be clinically depressed if even a double handful of amazing and magical games can’t spark any joy in you. I’m glad I have a Switch 2, but I’m mostly glad I’m not you.

Because that would be awful.

Reading isn’t hard at all when you’re playing on a proper system, and proper screen. But I’m guessing you had compromised shitty experiences on last gen hardware instead of being patient and waiting for Switch 2.

OP here, I won’t even argue with you, pirating Nintendo is always ethical because even though they hold a special place in my heart and I love their shit - they have been an evil bastard through history.

That being said, I’ve got a modded GBA, GameCube, plus carts for my SNES and NES too. I’ll eventually get a modded Wii too. I never got into the Switch modding cycle but I bet it’s cool af. As far as running switch games on a proper battle station, it’s hard to believe that Switch emulation is better than just playing it on a Switch 2, but maybe it is - haven’t checked.

In any case, it’s worth the money to me to just kick it in my living room on a new console.

Honest anon, I’d rather just play Switch 2. But I hope you get the help you need

It's absolutely stacked in third-parties with more to come in the future (Patapon, Elden Ring, likeley the other EDF games, etc.). Switch 2 also makes the third-paries that suffered of technical issues on the first Switch actually playable this time.

In short, it's a great gamin system that I can fully concentrate on without relying on anything else
