I miss life during the Brawl era. It was good times playing games with high school friends, and watching Brawl Taunts on Newgrounds.

God, same. That era was pure magic. Smashboards theorycrafting, Subspace Emissary leaks, Sonic reveal - all of it was peak hype. We'd come home from school, boot up the Wii, and spend hours doing 4-player free-for-alls with jank-ass custom stages. And Brawl Taunts? Bro, “I'm Captain Falcon!” was iconic. Whole friend group quoting it non-stop like it was scripture. Simpler times.

I also remember there were TONS of Brawl Machinima back in the day. It's how I got introduced to Lyle and him later doing Sanity not Included with Dex.
