You have embarrassingly low stamina, OP. The article you screenshotted gives a bunch of reasons why the sales numbers are so low, starting in the next paragraph you cropped off. Finish reading instead of asking us to do it for you.

Cyberpunk sold incredibly well for a old port with bad performance, Rune Factory sold normal.
Maybe is time to sell physical games instead of key cards.

This. Tendies only buy and play Nintendo games. Right now the only people who bought the switch 2 at launch for $500, are tendies. For th3 console to truly b3 successful and sell th4id party ganes, and become a console that's wo3th owning, it has to app3al to normi3s and convince them to buy, which they will buy 3rd party games, which will leads to more games ported which leads to more normies buying. It feeds on itself.

Same with this tard, being able to sell games you have unlimited access to will always be superior to having to make the choice to get rid of the game and not have it any more or always hold onto it.

I bought a Switch to get all the anime tits games that weren't coming to the Vita.
My first Nintendo game was Bayonetta, my second one was Mario Odyssey. Third was wonderful 101.

If I remember correctly, because of the data limitations or expense of having large games on the cards, Nintendo is charging additional fees for having large games from third parties on top of standard fees and it's making them all choose the game key method where the game isn't on the card. Most people are turned off by the concept because it reinforces the own nothing be happy WEF ideal and so third party games are shunned for Nintendo's overpriced sub par games.

this. i love puyo and think tetris 2 is an improvement over the original but i'm not fucking buying it AGAIN just for two new modes, one actually being from older titles. i don't know why they didn't just go with champions if they're still keeping puzzle pop in apple's wallet for however long.

they're all late ports of shitty games that probably don't run well
the only reason to buy any of them is if you have no other way to play them, and you have shit taste

this.
almost nobody owns 'just' a switch, and third party games run & look better on other systems. switch is an extra console for playing nintendo exclusives and some games that you want mobile

You don't buy a Nintendo console for third party games. All the games that came out with the Switch 2 have been on other platforms for years now.

Portable SF6 is awesome especially when it comes with all the DLC, and you can practice combos during long trips. Cyberpunk with joystick mouse controls sounds neat too.

I did. But I didn't do it for years old ports, sold at full or near full price, that come with key cards instead of real game cards.
That I didn't do.

I've already got my copy of Shadow Labyrinth ordered though. To name one example.

Did no one learn there lesson since Switch 1 and the wiggle waggle machine? Nintendo consoles are bought because people want to buy only Nintendo games for it, not 3rd part ones.

Capcom seems to be happy with the Switch 2 release of SF6 since they cite the Switch 2 release of SF6 as a reason why the managed to reach the 5 million milestone. I doubt that version of the game is flopping. Seems like the games that are flopping are Sega's games since they're doing batshit insane practices like a $50 rerelease of Yakuza 0 or providing no upgrade path for Sonic X Shadow.

>Recently, Capcom also released Street Fighter 6 as a launch title for the new Nintendo Switchโ„ข 2. In addition to introducing exclusive modes designed specifically for the Nintendo Switch 2, and new gameplay features that utilize the gyro functionality of the Joy-Conโ„ข 2, Local Battles, and more. This version also supports cross-play, enabling users to enjoy the game together across different platforms. These initiatives have contributed to Street Fighter 6โ€™s wide appeal, expanded global sales and resulted in the title achieving the milestone of 5 million units sold.
