As games in the climbing things genre goes it's pretty middle of the pack, my favorite so far has been White Knuckle.
Cairn from the developers of Furi also looks like it has potential but I've not played the demo yet.

We have tons of games to already play but they are 100% influenced by e-personalities and trends. I love my friends but I'm not throwing away my money because they are financially irisponsible. I've got a few dozen unfinished fun with friends games that I'm still annoyed I paid for. it was really fun for 3-4 days which is okay for 8€. didnt feel like playing further after clearing ascent 4. different map seed is fun but they also need different maps altogether. white knuckle is boring

That's honestly pretty fair. I always feel a bit bad when they're all playing a game and always ask me to play, but whenever they don't give up on a game after a weekend, they end blowing through em on days I can't really play, so there's no reason for me to even bother.
