I found it very subpar. Anyone hailing it as being as good or better than the classic JRPGs likely doesn't play many JRPGs. It's more or less just a mishmash of FF, Persona and Elden Ring with none of the individual parts of the game being particularly good.

Ratings are meaningless if you dont factor the number of ratings, so a game like Kingdom Come 2 will never be this high with higher amount of ratings.

This why weighted system is always superior.
If you dont have weighted system, you end up with every new release reaching the top spot (as we see with Death Stranding 2 here)

Yeah this is confusing as fuck, KCD1 is rated much lower, but somehow the sequel got higher ratings, i assume its the sequel factor where most people who hated the first wont bother with the second but still. i found it weird that the woke users of the website didnt complain about Vavra's game, even though he is still considered a bigot in their opinion.
The woke users of Backloggd don't really complain about all games equally, they cherry pick, for example when it comes to CD Projekt Red games like Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk you will see them complaining about woke shit not being there or not being done properly, but if its a game like Atlus Metaphor or Persona or some Final Fantasy game, then you will not see a single line mentioning it, again woke shitters only work in one way and we all know why, they are incredibly disingenuous

Most rating system are inherently flawed to how easily manipulated they are, or how they don't account for certain biases (such as recency, sample, sequel, rerelease, etc.) and that you'll always have retards who think 5/5 is anything they like and people who use 5/5 as exceptional

honestly the final nail in the coffin for why I'm abandoning gaming. the worst gayms keep getting the most praise and accolades and every year the industry just goes further down the shitter. I'm replaying the Mega Man X series and having a better time than most games released in the past 15 years. the last games I really enjoyed were the Ninja Gaiden reboot games and (((the industry))) managed even to fuck up those beyond repair with NG3 and nu-Gayden 4.

I don't really know anything about expedition 33 other than it being turn-based and having a parry mechanic. I don't care. I don't rly care for these popularity contests. Could not care less about what games wins GOTY. Also that list should tell you not to worry about what people think is good, kingdom cum, astro bot, utawarerumono, half life alyx, ace attorney.
