The overpowered heroes, the lack of real weapon sights, along with third person being an option make the game automatically completely unserious to any FPS player that isnt just playing it because its star wars, and you could see that in the player numbers as well.
Its 90%+ the way there, I'll grant you that, they're so close you can almost feel that it would have been the biggest shooter in years, but they fumbled it honestly and its a shame

Battlefield just isn't Battlefield if you can't spawn on a ship as an engineer and pull out your wrench and tape down LMB and get top score of the match

Same. Its actually fun shoota. But i try to play again few months back and as eu fagg game put me into NA servers all the time probably coz its kill in eu and too few play. Also there is a good amount of cheaters and faggs can brick every lobby they want and literally wont let you play. Shame it was fun game.

the amount of bullshit one shots this game has that devolves to "I picked this character/class in the menu, now you have to chance of fighting me" is fucking stupid.
That and there are so many one shot abilities for individual classes like the vanguard. None of them have any real counterplay either and its just some univrsally accepted or lauded part of the game "because I can play as anakin wow." The game is so casual its painful at times, you can just lose a match because some player stood in the backline farming battleshekels all round and now is playing as some hero with 15 exploits and singlehandedly wins the game while you're reliant on your idiot teammates to play a hero that actually might have a decent shot of killing the guy rampaging.
Battlefield games can and do have OP vehicles but at least they aren't in the same play space as a regular player and each class has real counterplay
